Amaro Biography
Amaro began his career as a Reggaeton artist over two years ago in Guyama, a mid-size city in Puerto Rico, by singing in a church with his family. “Music is in my blood,” declares Amaro, whose mother is a dance instructor and his sister a music teacher, both well recognized in his hometown. What distinguishes Amaro from much of the rest of the Reggaeton community is his approach to the genre. “Though much of Reggaeton can often be vulgar, my lyrics focus on more upbeat, positive messages. I may still sing aggressively, but I feel I have the responsibility to present people’s best qualities in my art and my music.”
